Bourcier Reserve was born in Texas, and Texas is in every cigar we roll. Our shop is small by design — a bench, a few artisans, and the patience to do things the way they were meant to be done. No machine ever touches a Bourcier cigar. Every bunch is drawn by hand, and every roll is finished by a single local torcedor from start to end.
Our artisans are our neighbors — men and women from across the state who learned this craft the hard way, one leaf at a time. They are the reason a Bourcier cigar smokes the way it does: even, deliberate, and worth the hour it asks of you. We answer to them, and to the Texas roots that put us here. When a blend does not justify its price, it does not leave the shop.
Three disciplines, no shortcuts
A Bourcier cigar passes through three gates before it leaves Texas. Fail any one, and it stays in the cellar. This is not quality control — it is the refusal to let anything imperfect carry our name, or our state's.
The Aging
Every leaf rests. Our tobacco ages a minimum of one to 3 years and the reserve blends up to seven. Time is the one ingredient we will never rush — it is what turns tobacco into memory.
The Roll
Each cigar is hand-bunched and rolled by a single local torcedor — an artisan from Texas start to finish. No machines, no assembly lines, only hands that learned this craft here at home and still treat it as something worth doing slowly.
The Selection
We taste every batch before it earns a place in the humidor. If a blend does not justify its price, it does not leave the cellar. That is the only standard we have ever cared to meet.
We do not sell cigars. We share the hours our Texas artisans gave them — and the patience it takes to roll a leaf by hand.
